first_imgTEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury Congregational Church is happy to announce the arrival of its 24th settled pastor, Reverend W. Baxter Chism.Chism is originally from Clanton, AL and is a graduate of Auburn University (Auburn, AL), where he received a B.S. in Business Administration (MIS). He was called into ministry in 2002 and completed his Masters of Divinity at Memphis Theological Seminary (Memphis, TN) in 2007. Ordained in the United Methodist Church, Rev. Chism has served several United Methodist churches as Senior Pastor since 2005 and is currently transitioning his ministry to the United Church of Christ. Rev. Chism follows Rev. Dr. Norman Bendroth who served as Interim Minister for 2.5 years.Please join us and Reverend Chism for his first Sunday service at TCC, Sunday, June 24th at 9:30am.Reverend W.
