Update – A Fort St. John Man escapes from Psychiatric Hospital

first_img**Update – The RCMP confirmed late Thursday that Terry Giesbrecht returned voluntarily to the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital.We have confirmation this morning that a Fort St. John man convicted of two murders in northeastern B.C. has disappeared from a psychiatric unit. He’s described as caucasian, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He’s now 46 year old, 6’2″ tall and weighs about 265 pounds.The Mounties say anyone who sees him should not approach nor confront him, but should call 911 immediately. center_img The RCMP in the Vancouver suburb of Coquitlam warned last night that Terry Scott Giesbrecht, left the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital in that city on Tuesday, with authorization but has not returned.- Advertisement -He was found guilty in 2005, of second-degree murder in the two Fort St. John beating deaths and after a forensic psychiatrist determined he suffered from paraonoid schizophrenia, he was ruled criminally insane.One RCMP spokesperson is quoted as saying, he has been assessed as having the potential for violent behaviour.There is a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest, and police are seeking public assistance in their search for him.Advertisementlast_img read more
