Picture by Patrick Glidea.Donegal basked in glorious sunshine today – but the Donegal Fire Service warned of a sting in the tail.The good news form Met Eireann is that the good weather spell is set to last until at least Thursday.But, as a number of gorse fires broke out in West Donegal, people have been warned to take care during the dry spell. Even the cows at St John’s Point came down to the beach today to get some sea breeze.Beaches across Donegal were busy as an unusual spell of fine April weather looks to settle in.A glut of visitors from across the border made sure the cash registers continued to ring as the strength of sterling proves a huge draw.Motorists have been urged to slow down as the volume of traffic on Donegal’s roads increases with school holidays continuing until the weekend.
